What is the application process for studying in China?

How much does it cost to live on campus in China?
Most Chinese universities provide very good and comfortable dormitories for international students. International student dormitories usually have private bathrooms, equipped with TV, Internet, washing machine, air conditioning and refrigerator. The cost of different types of rooms varies from campus to campus in different cities, and the average cost is between 500usd and 1,200usd per year. For example, university accommodation in first-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai usually costs more than 1,000usd per year for a double room and more than 1,500usd per year for a single room. However, in other second-tier cities, a double room only costs about 500~800usd per year. It may even be cheaper in some other third-tier and fourth-tier cities.
How much does it cost to live off campus in China?
Although there are a few universities that allow all students to live off campus, in most cases, Chinese universities only allow senior students to apply for off-campus housing, or even not allow any students to do so. If you want to live off campus, the first thing you have to do is to get permission from the university coordinator. Remember not to move out without notifying anyone. Currently, the monthly cost of renting an apartment in first-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai is about 500~700usd. In other second-tier cities, the monthly cost is about 200usd.
Can I study and work in China?
Yes, but you need to get the consent of the school teacher. You can do some legal part-time work in your spare time without violating Chinese laws and school regulations and affecting your studies.
I want to study MBBS. How should I choose a university?
There are more than 3,000 universities in China, and about 800 universities are qualified to recruit international students. Among them, only 44 universities provide pure English teaching and are recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the World Health Organization (WHO). How much is the tuition fee for studying in China per year?
Non-academic Chinese courses
The average annual tuition fee is about 1,500~2,000usd (some universities may charge lower or higher fees than this range)
Bachelor (except medical)
The average annual tuition fee is about 2,500~4,000usd (some universities may charge lower or higher fees than this range)
Master and doctoral (except medical)
The average annual tuition fee is about 2,500~5,000usd (some universities may charge lower or higher fees than this range)
Medical majors

How to get a student visa?
After the Chinese university admits you, it will process the JW202 form (visa application form) for you, and then you can go to the embassy to apply for a visa with the admission letter and visa application form.
What is the JW202 form?
The JW202 form is an essential document required by the Chinese Embassy to apply for an X visa. Each JW202 form has its unique code, issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Ministry of Public Security (MOP) and local governments.
How can I get a scholarship?
1. Prepare application documents and submit them as soon as possible
2. Application documents must meet the scholarship evaluation criteria
3. Cannot exceed the scholarship application age limit
4. Have outstanding advantages, such as published papers, any honorary award certificates, or good Chinese proficiency
5. Need to have financial proof, because even if applying for a scholarship, the Chinese Ministry of Education and universities will comprehensively evaluate the applicant’s family background.
